_Frequently Asked Questions

Can I walk in the bush on my own?

No. The reserve is home to white rhino, wild antelope and snakes which are potentially dangerous to inexperienced walkers. You will be accompanied by qualified guides at all times.

Can I extend my trip once I am there?

Yes. The standard cost is 200GBP per week.

Is there internet availability?

There is internet available at our main office but can only be used for emergencies.

Is there mobile phone reception on the reserve?

Yes but it is often temperamental in camp. All other places on the reserve gain good mobile reception. It is possible to buy a local sim card on your arrival.

Will I be able to charge batteries and other equipment during my stay?

Yes, but not at the camp. We can take your items to a secure office and charge them overnight but can not be done on demand on a daily basis.

Is there somewhere that I can lock up my possessions?

Yes, there is a safe at the main office and we always lock up guests passports, money and flight tickets for them on their arrival. We also provide you with a padlock for the door of your cabin so you are able to lock it whilst out on the reserve.
