Nkombi camp is a
rustic bush camp which is situated in the heart of the reserve.
Its locality makes it very popular with the wildlife so
volunteers enjoy an abundance of birds and are often visited by
antelope, porcupines, giraffe and they have even had the
occasional White Rhino wander through the camp.
The accommodation
consists of 7 wooden sleeping cabins with verandas, a main
living cabin and boma area which form the hub of the camp. A
communal toilet block which comprises of 4 flush toilets and 2
hot showers.
Nkombi rock pools
are a short stroll from the camp and provide a perfect place to
have sundowners in the evening or cool off on a hot summers day. |
