Programme Duration:

Programmes run for 2 or 4 weeks with option to extend.

Deposit:

A 10% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking to confirm your place. Balance is payable 2 weeks prior to the programme start date.

General Information:

Age Range: 18+
No. in Group: 12 maximum plus research staff.
Accommodation: 2 persons sharing per bush cabin.
Visa Requirements: 3 months tourist visa issued on arrival to UK passport holders.
Insurance: Arrangement of personal travel insurance essential.

Accommodation:
     
The bush camp is situated in the heart of the reserve where animals are free to roam in and out. The accommodation comprises of 6 two sleeper log cabins placed amongst riverine woodland. A communal log cabin on stilts will form the hub of camp volunteer life. This encompasses a kitchen, living and dining area with an outside verandah overlooking the surrounding bushveld. Stairs lead down to a braii area, seating and fire pit. The camp will run off gas and solar and battery operated lighting. Hot and cold mains water is available on site, along with showers and flush toilets. Limited use of electrical supply is available on request, at an offsite office.
