Field Courses
For the past decade,
universities and colleges from across the UK have been visiting
Mankwe Wildlife Reserve to undertake field courses for
undergraduate and
post-graduate modules in Zoology, Wildlife Biology, Animal
Sciences and Environmental Sciences.
Throughout their stay, students gain practical experience in a
range of conservation topics including wildlife identification,
research techniques, game farm management, animal behaviour and
habitat management.
The reserve can cater for up to 32 students and have an
experienced and knowledgeable team that help with the running of
the field courses.
Students are catered for at the
Waterbuck Camp where three wholesome meals are
provided by our chef Makhosi.
